Zap to work electrically and escape the city on the weekends - courtesy of our all-new plug-in hybrid engine. With an electric range of up to 42** km and a total range of up to 500**** km, there’s no limit to where the MINI Cooper S E Countryman ALL4 can take you. About as good as the 6.8 seconds it takes to hit 100 km/h, we reckon. Sustainable driving just got fun.
In electric mode, you can drive your MINI Cooper S E Countryman ALL4 up to 42 km. That’s without any local CO2 emissions. Even when the petrol engine takes over, you’re still looking at remarkably low consumption figures of 2.3 - 2.1*** l/100 km and 52-49*** g CO2/km. Switching between eDrive and petrol drive is silky smooth and fully automated.
The MINI Cooper S E Countryman ALL4 is powered by a high-tech lithium-ion battery. Kept at its optimum operating temperature by an advanced cooling system, the battery excels in output and service life. You can recharge the battery using a conventional 230-volt/110-volt household socket or a dedicated electric car charge point. You’ll find the charging port behind a flap on the front left side scuttle. An LED light ring on the charging port is charging up and indicates the different phases of the charging process.
Charge your MINI while you sleep. Just plug it into any power socket at home with the standard charging cable that comes with your MINI. Charging time varies between a minimum of two and a maximum of eights hours, depending on the provided voltage of your household power grid and battery levels.
While you’re on the road, you can charge your MINI on public loading facilities with the MINI public charging cable. This cable is available as a MINI original accessory. Contact your MINI dealer for further information.
This is the default setting when you switch on your MINI. It determines the most efficient combination of the electric motor and petrol engine, depending on your speed, acceleration and battery status. AUTO eDrive Mode is divided into two phases. If the battery charging status is between 100% and 7%, you can drive at up to 80 km/h – without any local CO2 emissions and without using any fuel. At higher speeds or when conditions so require, the petrol engine comes on automatically. If the battery charge level drops below 7%, you can drive your MINI Cooper S E Countryman ALL4 in purely electric mode with moderate acceleration at up to 20 km/h and with gentle acceleration or a constant speed of 55 km/h.
In MAX eDrive mode, you can treat yourself to purely electric driving at speeds of up to 125 km/h. Free of local CO2 emission and without consuming a single drop of fuel. If you want to go faster or accelerate harder, no problem. You can count on the petrol engine to switch on automatically with a kick-down of the gas pedal to give you.
Toggle into the Save Battery mode when the battery is running low. In this mode, the petrol engine charges the battery or keeps the charging status at 90%. When you’re driving in Save Battery mode, the petrol engine is doing all the work, so you can switch back to electric driving in urban areas.
The electric version of the renowned red S-badge. Same sporty message, with added sustainability.
Telltales of sustainability. The left side scuttle also houses the charging socket that lights up when plugged in.
Let the lightning-quick acceleration of the MINI Cooper S E Countryman ALL4 push you back into these supremely comfortable optional leather seats.
Radiant like the electric MINI they carry. The optional 18” Black Pin Spoke Light Alloy Wheels emit an aura of elegance.
A clear statement for those trying to keep up with you. The bright yellow e-badge on the boot lid.
Keep track of all things electric on the e-instrument. It replaces the traditional rev-counter on the dashboard.
